Following the recent soft launch of status page components, we are improving things today with the ability to drag and drop subcomponents.

Having the capacity to group components together was a popular request over the last few weeks. All being well this improvement will help everyone organise their components to provide a nice clear layout on the status page.

Components can also be nested as many levels deep as you like, which can come in handy when things need a more granular view.

When a nested component becomes degraded, the status page expands the subcomponents automatically to save people hunting around for them.

The API is now component aware and so too are the theming docs for those using a custom status page theme.
