A couple of days ago I mentioned that we were breaking ground on adding components to the status page. Now, as the sun sets on another productive week I'm reflecting on our initial progress.

Internally we now have a rough-cut UI which allows us to manage components, and have them listed on the status page - fairly trivial but it's nice to see already how much more 'personal' it makes the page feel now that it more closely represents the service.

Next week we'll begin by associating components against notices, so you'll be able to choose which components are affected by a particular incident, hopefully making the unfolding situation a little clearer to your audience.

I'll probably spend all weekend chomping at the bit to get stuck in again on Monday.
