Over the past couple of days, we've been planning our approach to 'components' on the Status Page, allowing you to list out various elements of your infrastructure, or individual products and services, each with their own status.

The idea here is that it'll help your audience better understand how your overall service is effected.

This has been something we've shied away from for a while, as if not done tastefully listing out every element of your infrastructure isn't likely to make things any clearer (Here's looking at you AWS).

We have both a short-term and a long-term approach to solving this one, hopefully getting something workable out the door before too long, with ongoing development as we grow.

Today we broke ground and started writing code. On our way to big feature releases like this, we often bundle out lots of smaller updates and improvements to the system (we deploy several times a day don't you know).
